New life

Just a few days after this little guy was born, I came over and shot some photos of him. He spent most of the time wide awake which is rare for newborns. Every photo you see here with his eyes closed was when I happened to snap the photo when he was blinking! LOL! He was a sweetheart and I'm sure he'll break many a hearts one day! I give you Baby Jonah!

Love...is a splendid thing

I'm so behind on my "blogging" these days. I photographed this lovely couple back in April. They were so much fun and you could really tell they have a deep love for one another. They made my job super easy with their fun-loving personalities and no fear attitudes to be a little silly! I give you Chris & Tammy....

Sexy & Sophisticated

A friend of mine wanted to do a sexy, yet sophisticated photo shoot with one of her favorite props....a motorcycle. It was a mix of hard edge & classic beauty. We had a lot of fun pulling this off. It was a really hot day and we walked all over the place & changed locations multiple times, but Randee never complained. I think we achieved the result we were hoping for.

Class of 2012

I had the honor of photographing one of this year's graduating seniors. A polite, well spoken and good mannered young man he was. Never rolled his eyes or acted imposed upon as many teenage boys would've done. He had an aura of distinguished gentleman and I enjoyed getting all sides of his personality. Congratulations Reed and all the other 2012 graduates!

Spring Family Photos

It's not often as a photographer that I'll have a family photo shoot that includes a 2 year old that is completely effortless. But last weekend, that's exactly what I had! =) The Colemans were so easy and fun to photograph. The couple & I have known each other since Jr. High School and in the last year have reconnected. It's been a joy to renew the friendship and see their little girl growing up.

This time of year is a great time for portraits, I think. Everything is so lush & green & all the wild flowers are in bloom which makes for a lovely backdrop for spring family portraits! Below is a sampling of the session! Visit this LINK for the entire set!!

New year, new baby, new beginnings

My brother & sister-in-law welcomed their first child just 8 days into the new year. Little Piper is such a joy & is so adorable. She's a good baby. Rarely fussy and is rather alert for being so young. I had the pleasure of photographing her newborn portraits a week after her birth. We are all very excited to have this new member of the family!

And then they said "I do!"

I got to ring in the new year by photographing a wedding of a sweet couple who's engagement photos I'd just done 2 weeks before. The groom is in the military and is stationed in California. He was home for the holidays and to get married to his beautiful bride. It was a traditional wedding service but the party after was very modern. Congrats Ashley & Cullin as you embark on a new life together.
